50+ years of business ownership, estimating and operating experience spans nearly his entire working career.

Founding member of Bardavcol and owner of Davison Earthmovers established in 1986. John was awarded Hall of Fame membership with the Civil Contractors Federation in 2014 in recognition of his contribution to earthmoving in SA.

John’s mantra is :

Paul has project managed a range of projects that involve, but are not limited to, maintenance, bulk excavation, car park and road construction, rail works, cartage contracting, contaminated spoil remediation, demolition, services placement and machine placement/coordination.
His role as CEO does not limit his active involvement in the management of projects and overseeing key projects for Davison Earthmovers.

With experience in asphalt, concrete, quarrying, management systems, business, contract and project management within both private and government organisations Len has a sound understanding of customer expectations and the requirements to ensure that a business delivers for it’s employees and customers.

Andrew has a background of 20 years in business and WHS management in the fields of construction and vehicle safety/communication.

Andrew has been exposed to numerous Quality, Safety and Environmental systems covering many and various workplaces. including remote working areas in the Health, Safety, Environment and Community field. His experience came to the fore in developing and maintaining WHS & E systems and procedures and liaising with local communities and indigenous people.

Combining the years of practical business and WHS experience, Andrew is organised and approachable taking a very hands-on, proactive approach to his current role as QSE Manager of Davison Earthmovers, often in the field, listening and talking with employees and clients alike, helping promote a positive safety culture.

Paul has worked on a number of larger projects both with Davison Earthmovers and also prior to his employment with the company through employment with York Civil and Cook Constructions.

His experience through involvement with technically difficult projects including construction of bridgeworks and projects requiring maintenance of traffic flow provide valuable experience and depth to the company’s operational capability.

Paul’s experience and knowledge allows him to mentor and oversee the companies construction activities on site to ensure work is completed on time, budget and to the high levels of quality expected by the business.

Moein has over eight years’ experience as a project manager, site engineer and estimator in civil projects including subdivisions, bulk earthworks, stormwater, soil remediation, utility services and commercial developments.

Moein prides himself in having excellent negotiation skills and ability to liaise with project stakeholders. He has a proven ability to ensure projects are delivered within time, budget and a keen technical eye to isolate and resolve issues prior to construction.

Moein contributed a significant role in the development of the civil department of his previous employer, implementing QA/QC management plans and therefore obtaining DPTI prequalification for roadworks and bridgeworks.

Jesse commenced with Davison Earthmovers in January, 2016 as a work experience student and has since achieved his Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering.

Jesse is responsible for a number of project related goals and processes necessary for ensuring quality and efficiency on-site. He has broad technical engineering knowledge in civil and geotechnical fields as well as practical experience relating to earthmoving activities.

In a short period of time Jesse has been exposed to many differing construction scenarios including soil nail reinforced shotcrete walls, bridge construction and detailed planning and coordination with Tier 1 builders.

Jesse's position includes: 

  • Undertaking quantity survey and cost estimation
  • Creating and reviewing tender documentation
  • Project management and review of project progress
  • Creation and management of quality assurance processes and documentation

Himanshu is responsible for Quantity Takeoff for the company utilising the Maxwell Systems software.

Himanshu hosts over 25 years work experience in the Construction Industry.

Pre his arrival into Australia in 2006, Himanshu’s career includes working in India as Site Manager for high-rise residential projects and in the Kingdom of Bahrain as Project Engineer for a variety of residential and commercial builds. He is a thorough, knowledgeable and detailed employee providing accurate electronic based quantity measurement and documentation assessment at the time of tender.

Warren brings over 20 years of mechanical and operational management experience learnt from a number of industries in the mechanical, logistics and construction fields. He has a sound knowledge and understanding of machinery with a keen eye for diagnosing and resolving difficult mechanical and engineering related issues.

Warren’s role is a key element of the businesses operations managing the work horses of the company (our plant and machinery) including coordinating the efficient delivery of fuel to multiple plant on multiple sites on an as required basis.
